Just A Bit About Us

Rocky Mountain Tractor Pullers Association was founded in 1990 by a group of seventeen members.  This group of men has help inspire a common interest in the restoration, preservation and operation of antique and classic tractors

For the past several years, our membership has maintained 100+ members in the club.  The Board consists of four offices and three board members.  Over time this has proven to be a good mix.

The first tractor pull was held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, Colorado.  Tractor pulling has continued to be the main focus along the parades and tractor shows.  Fifteen pulls are held along the Front Range in Colorado and even as far as Yuma, CO

The unique part of the club is the many classes it offers in percentage and distance pulling.  This can accommodate the novice to the die-hard puller.

The friendly competition of the members and volunteers is what makes the club so social and entertaining at the pulling events.

Sponsors also make up for the longevity of the club’s success.

We welcome contributions of articles, illustrations, letters of suggestion or encouragement and general interest items from the members.  These can be posted on the website for the benefit of the membership and visitors.
